COVID-19 Guidelines

At PhysioEvolution the health and well-being of both our patients and staff is a top priority. Consequently, we will apply the COVID-19 Guidelines applicable to our Health industry. We will operate within these guidelines for everyone and request that you co-operate fully with them.

Please read the guidelines below:

  • If you have travelled from overseas, any departure point, in the past 14 days you are in quarantine and must not attend for treatment.
  • If you have travelled within Australia, from any airport but particularly journeys of over 2 hours, you will need to assess your health status and make sure you are well. You will be able to attend for an appointment but we would like to know if you have “been on a plane”.
  • If you are in a self-isolating period, for any reason, you are not to attend.
  • If you are feeling unwell, you are not to attend until feeling recovered.
Symptoms to watch for are fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, body aches, sore throat, headache and runny nose, muscle pain, or diarrhoea.

Please call us on 9958 0410 if you have any queries before your appointment and know that there will never be a penalty for cancelling an appointment in a health and welfare context.

At PhysioEvolution it is now a condition of entry that you wash your hands, preferably using soap and water in the bathroom, on arrival and on departure. You are requested to attend your appointment on your own unless a carer or guardian. No children please.

There will be no reception staff.

All staff will follow the hand washing protocol and the self-isolation guidelines as stated above. In addition staff will be wearing masks when treating and will minimise contact as much as possible.

For patients who are unable to attend due to self-isolation or fearful of being out and about due to being in a high risk group, it may be possible to set up an e-appointment. You can get lots of information and have questions answered by your physiotherapist without any hands-on treatment. Have a chat with us if that sounds like you.

Exercise Clients: all on-site exercise classes are cancelled as of 22 March 2020.

Exercise classes will be delivered over the internet either recorded or on some occasions, live.

BodyBall classes conducted at PhysioEvolution: will be delivered online. Call Alison Blake to arrange your participation.

You will notice that we do not have an automatic booking system for appointments at PhysioEvolution. We like to talk to you personally so we can better meet your needs, especially during the COVID-19 crisis.

Please do not hesitate to give us a call. If you have any suggestions of how better to serve you, do let us know.
